About Natalie
Natalie Haskell develops and implements strategic communications and public affairs campaigns on top issue areas, including infrastructure, health, technology and water. Her work is instrumental in moving clients’ initiatives forward and supporting positive policy changes that help make the West a better place to live, work and visit.
In her nearly decade-long career, Natalie has worked in California and Idaho, partnering with state agencies, nonprofits and philanthropies, higher education systems and corporations to help communicate their unique value propositions. From grassroots coalition and reputation building to infrastructure projects and public awareness campaigns, she collaborates with clients to effectively break through the noise and drive results.
At LPA, Natalie led earned media strategy on California’s COVID-19 public awareness campaigns and the state’s Save Our Water initiative, overseeing mainstream and ethnic media outreach statewide and locally. Natalie was instrumental in establishing and launching a pro-contraceptives coalition in Idaho at a pivotal point in developing state policy on reproductive health. She also partnered with the Idaho Transportation Department to execute effective public involvement strategies to garner community feedback on a contentious highway infrastructure project.
Previously, Natalie assisted with constituent relations in the district office of Washington State Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers and provided administrative support to faculty and staff at the Gonzaga University School of Law.
Natalie is a proud Gonzaga University alum with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a master’s degree in communication and leadership. Still deeply connected to her California roots, Natalie lives in southwest Idaho with her husband and son and enjoys frequent visits with her family in Northern California.
