About Josh
Josh contributes his writing, media relations and partnership outreach skills to LPA clients in a variety of policy areas including green energy, higher education, and aging and technology equity.
Since joining LPA in 2021, Josh has supported efforts to reform the state’s financial aid program, as well as to expand broadband access to low-income and underserved communities. He also works with climate-conscious clients navigate the clean energy transition and better enable the state to achieve its carbon neutrality goals.
Prior to joining Team LPA, Josh worked for the California Research Bureau and Berkeley City Councilmember Rigel Robinson on policy analysis and communication. Josh also served as a higher education advocate, chairing the systemwide University of California Student Association and advancing student priorities in higher education.
Raised in rural northern California, Josh graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Political Science and Public Policy. Josh loves hiking, kayaking and camping in the Sierra Nevada mountains and is passionate about engaging young people in politics.
