About Jacob
Jacob provides a uniquely informed perspective to help guide strategy development and execution with a broad range of communications and public affairs experience in both the public and private sectors. At LPA, he supports clients that range across a spectrum of issue areas, including health care, aging services, energy and finance.
A storyteller at heart, Jacob likes to dive into what drives his clients’ work to weave a compelling and successful narrative to bring their goals to life. He has significant experience creating and executing strategy at all levels for his clients and employers, including collateral development and earned media outreach in English and Spanish.
Before joining LPA, Jacob managed communications activities for the California Medical Association and its subsidiary, Physicians for a Healthy California, which provides funding to increase health care access across the state. Earlier in his career he worked as an independent public affairs consultant and in the Legislature for Senator Nancy Skinner.
Jacob earned his B.A. in Political Science with minors in Spanish, Economics and International Studies from Texas Christian University. When he is not at his desk, Jacob can be found out tasting new local foods or getting away for an outdoor adventure.
