Eric Saldivar leads teams in driving strategic communications and public affairs initiatives forward for LPA clients across several industries and policy areas including energy, land use, transportation and tourism.
At LPA, Eric has helped Fortune 500 companies, statewide nonprofits and government agencies navigate complex, high-stakes issues in the political and regulatory arenas. In addition to leading the development and execution of public affairs strategies across multiple account teams, Eric helps clients stay on top of key developments in California’s rapidly evolving policy landscape with the research and analysis needed to break down the issues that matter most.
Eric previously interned for the California Professional Firefighters, the largest statewide advocacy organization for career firefighters, where he provided social media, research and writing support to the communications teams for both CPF and its nonprofit subsidiary, the California Fire Foundation. Earlier, he worked for the Sacramento County Office of Education as a tutor and mentor in the California Student Opportunity & Access Program.
Eric graduated with a bachelor’s degree in managerial economics from the University of California, Davis. When he’s not working, he can often be found at the beach, on a mountain or at a brewery.
