About Claire
Claire brings her writing, research and strategic communications skills to advise clients across a range of policy areas from natural resources to infrastructure and tourism. Her experience in journalism, public policy and grassroots organizing provides a strong foundation in compelling storytelling and effective civic engagement.
At LPA, Claire conducts policy research, leads the development of communications materials and messaging, and supports strategic outreach, stakeholder engagement and event execution to help move the needle on key issues.
Before joining LPA, Claire was a writer for The California Aggie, UC Davis’s student-run newspaper, where she developed her passion for writing and communications. She also held internships with the U.S. House of Representatives and TurnUp Activism, a national youth organization focused on voter engagement.
Claire graduated from UC Davis with her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Professional Writing. She enjoys gardening and going on road trips, and you can often find her in the kitchen trying out new recipes.
