Lucas Public Affairs (LPA) proudly announced the addition of two Account Supervisors, Jacob Frank and Ashley Johnson, to its growing team of top-tier public affairs and communications experts. As Account Supervisors, Jacob and Ashley bring an added level of industry-specific expertise and specialized communications skillsets.

Jacob Frank joins LPA with a proven track record in crisis planning, rapid response, executive communications program development and strategic planning. Before joining LPA, Jacob held leadership roles at the National Football League, where he oversaw major initiatives, including developing, executing and communicating the League’s comprehensive COVID-19 testing and contact tracing programs. Jacob was deeply involved in the League’s issue and crisis management, national and international initiatives and a wide variety of communications campaigns.

Ashley Johnson brings two decades of experience in politics, public policy and communications to LPA. Most recently with Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Ashley developed an expertise in crisis management and response and helped lead public and internal communications initiatives across rapidly evolving policy environments including energy, clean transportation, higher education and social justice. Early on in her career, Ashley served as press secretary for California State Assemblymember Kevin McCarty, working closely with elected officials and staff in the State Capitol.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ashley and Jacob to Team LPA,” said LPA CEO and Founder Donna Lucas. “We pride ourselves on consistently bringing a unique blend of insight, dedication and creativity to the table for our clients, and their unique experiences add to the level of depth we offer our clients.”
