Thea Kaiser brings to Lucas Public Affairs a range of experience in applying creative strategy to visual design in both digital and physical media. Thea leads the firm’s creative team by working collaboratively across client accounts to conceptualize and execute creative projects that translate ideas and messages into clear and compelling print materials and digital experiences.
Before joining LPA, Thea served small businesses and nonprofits, providing design and strategy services including brand strategy and identity, graphic design, website design and digital content creation. Formerly, she worked as a senior designer for Comstock’s Magazine, where her cover design for the 2019 Capitol Region Office Guide was awarded second place by the California News Publishers Association.
Thea also worked at the UC Davis Center for Design in the Public Interest, researching visual communications as they relate to pain management and opioid addiction. Earlier, she worked as assistant to the artist services manager at the Robert and Margrit Mondavi Performing Arts Center, where, among other responsibilities, she served as liaison for performers such as Itzhak Perlman, Jane Lynch, Kate Flannery and Yo-Yo Ma.
Thea graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor Arts in Design. She also studied various aspects of business, including business law, organizational management, accounting and micro/macro-economics.
