Rebecca Sloan| Account Supervisor
Rebecca Sloan has strong public affairs experience with expertise in government relations from working across federal, state and local governance issues over more than 25 years in Sacramento.
Rebecca comes to the firm with a background working with local governments, elected officials and non-profit organizations. Prior to joining LPA, Rebecca worked for Saint John’s Program for Real Change with homeless women and children and the Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG). While with SACOG, she worked closely with elected officials and senior staff from 28 local governments on the Blueprint Preferred Growth Scenario implementation, leading broad public engagement activities to inform federal and state infrastructure investments. Her policy experience includes transportation, public education, community development, and most recently homelessness. Early in her career, she worked in the California Legislature for former Senator Patrick Johnston.
A graduate of the California State University, Sacramento, Rebecca holds a BA in Communications and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration. Rebecca has led community volunteer efforts for two successful school bond measures for facility improvements in the Folsom Cordova Unified School District. She is also a strong advocate for the arts and civic amenities as economic assets. Rebecca lives in Sacramento with her husband and three children.
