Donna Lucas, aka “Ms. Sacramento,” has certainly earned her title. Born in Sacramento and raised in L.A., Lucas returned in 1982 and her resume now reads: former California press secretary for President George H.W. Bush, deputy chief of staff for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and chief of staff to First Lady Maria Shriver. Founder of Lucas Public Affairs, Ms. Sacramento says of the capital: “I love the tree-shaded neighborhoods, affordable Victorians and out two beautiful rivers, which come together in the heart of the River City.”
