Talent Rising at Lucas Public Affairs

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Lucas Public Affairs (LPA), a leading California public affairs firm, has promoted Matt Mahon to director, Natalie Haskell to senior account executive and Eric Saldivar to account coordinator.

Matt Mahon joined LPA as an account supervisor in 2018, bringing over a decade of experience in political communications, media relations and crisis management in both the Legislature and the private sector. As a director, Matt oversees client initiatives, providing valuable insight and strategic counsel as clients navigate California’s constantly evolving political and policy landscape.

Natalie Haskell has served in various capacities since joining LPA in 2017, most recently as account executive. In her new position, she is taking a leading role in project management, strategy, writing and media relations for clients across California’s top issue areas. Natalie has been instrumental in pushing client initiatives forward and supporting positive policy changes in the state.

Eric Saldivar worked as an apprentice since LPA brought him aboard in 2018. As an account coordinator, he provides media, writing, planning and research support for clients spanning several industries and policy areas, including energy, finance, biotechnology and higher education. Before joining the firm, Eric interned for California Professional Firefighters while studying at the University of California, Davis, where he earned a BS in managerial economics.
