LPA Talent Continues to Grow: Michelle Baker & Brooke Sperbeck Promoted to Account Executives

SACRAMENTO — Lucas Public Affairs (LPA), a leading California-based public affairs firm, has promoted Michelle Baker and Brooke Sperbeck to account executives, the firm announced today. In their new roles, Michelle and Brooke will take on more responsibility for managing projects that support LPA clients in the areas of education, energy, healthcare, and travel and tourism.

“Both Michelle and Brooke joined LPA as apprentices two years ago, and both quickly became valued members of our team,” said Donna Lucas, president and CEO of LPA. “Because of their good work and professional growth, both were hired as account coordinators and now are doing account executive work.  Our firm and our clients benefit from their increased contributions and effectiveness, and I am pleased to announce their well-deserved promotions.”

Prior to joining LPA, Michelle gained political experience through internships at Swanson Communications, Townsend Raimundo Besler & Usher and the State Assembly Speaker’s Press Office under John A. Pérez. Michelle, a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, serves as the Communications Specialist for Junior League of Sacramento and is an active member of Capitol Network.

Brooke had several internships during college, including positions with global biopharmaceutical company Pfizer, Inc., San Luis Obispo-based digital agency StudioGood and LPA. A Sacramento native, she is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and a member of Capitol Network.
